Greg, as the owner, oversees the daily activities and professionalism at Maag Prescription and Medical Supply. He has been working at Maag Prescription and Medical Supply since 1969. He is a native of Pocatello, and graduated from the University of Wyoming. He is trained in compounding prescriptions, and has taken several courses to advance his skills in preparation and mixture of I.V. medications. He is certified to fit orthotics and braces by Camp International. He has received advanced training to fit ostomy appliances. Greg is a member of the Idaho State Pharmaceutical Association, National Association of Retail Druggists, National Association of Medical Equipment Suppliers, Idaho Association of Medical Equipment Suppliers, Idaho Home Net, Inc. and Home Infusion Association and is a member of several civic organizations.

Favorite Part of the job: Three things come to mind when I think about why I like working here at Maag Prescription Center:

Number 1 is our customers. They have become our friends and part of our family. We have some families that have traded with us for over 50 years! Without their support we would not be in business. We try to take care of them with the best possible service we can give.

Number 2 is our employees. We have the best employees in Pocatello, Idaho. Our employees have such great attitudes. Customer service is number 1 in their minds. They give this service with such a positive and friendly attitude. Cheering up a sick customer is an important part of the day for every employee. We try to “Have A Great Day” everyday.

Number 3 is our location. We are located in Historic Downtown Pocatello. We are in walking distance to the banks, post office, and some of the best restaurants in Pocatello . Any time of day, you can walk around downtown and know everyone you meet. Downtown has a very friendly atmosphere and it is portrayed in the employees that work within these few blocks.

Favorite Part of the job: The number one reason I like and enjoy my job is the people I work with and the environment. We are like one big family. Favorite Part of the job: There are so many things that I love about my job, but first and for most has to be the tight knit community of Soda Springs where our branch store is located. The people of Soda are amazing. There is a feeling of community here that is like no other place I have ever experienced. I have enjoyed meeting so many people of this community, getting to know their families, getting to hear so many wonderful stories from people who have grown up in the area, and learning so much about the history of this rich and beautiful land. I have found that there is always someone with a smile, always someone to lend a hand, and always support from people whether they know you or not. I have also learned that here, a handshake is as good as any contract and a persons word is as good as a handshake. I love the people of Soda Springs, and thank them for their support and friendship and sense of loyalty to community. I also love the fact that our branch store is an extension of the tight knit family just as the Pocatello store is. The atmosphere is definitely a reflection of the vision of the Maag family with customer service being the number one goal, and job satisfaction and team work being the second. In Soda, our staff is outstanding. They strive to help our customers in any way possible, and work just as hard to support each other. I have the privilege of working with an amazing "family" in Soda Springs, and in Pocatello. .
